Looking to escape the city for a morning? Skyline Balloons is just over an hour from downtown Los Angeles, making it one of the easiest sunrise balloon adventures you can reach from LA. Skip the traffic-chased sunrise hikes and trade them for 5,000 feet of silence above the Temecula Valley. Many of our passengers drive up from LA the night before, stay in a local Temecula hotel, and wake up to a balloon flight over wine country — then be back in the city by early afternoon with a story most Angelinos will never have.

San Diego residents have been flying with us for years, and it's easy to see why — we're roughly an hour north via I-15, and the drive takes you straight from the coast into the rolling hills of the Inland Empire. Leave San Diego before dawn and you'll arrive at our Perris launch site in plenty of time for a sunrise flight. The contrast between San Diego's coastal mornings and the golden, sunlit vineyards of the Temecula Valley makes the short drive more than worth it.
